New Car?

1998 Pontiac Sunfire.

2nd Owner bought it when it was 2 years old.

Needs new tires, but comes with winter wheels.

No special features except a/c and CD player.

Crack in windshield needs replacing.

All in (with tires and insurance and windshield) it'll probably come to $2500, but that's 1/2 of the $5000 budget I'd set for myself. I haven't made any decisions yet, but it looks like a good deal. The seller is Mike's neighbour, and he seems legit.

Dunno yet. Even though the cabriolet for sale down the street looks super cute, I'd go for the sunfire over it. Dad and I went to look at it, and it's got rust. And it looks like the hood was replaced (front ender, perhaps?). but it's only $500. All in the way things go. But I'm still looking.

  1. my car had rust on it when we bought it, but with the help of my dad and holly's dad, the rust was sanded off, and we painted it all pretty! It was fun, although it took a couple days lol.
I would just be careful because i've known a few people in terrible accidents with sunfires... compared to similar accidents with other cars that proved to be more *durable*
AND regardless of the type of car you get, if it's white, drive with your headlights on ALL the time because they are harder to see on the road!!

  2. haha..GREAT!

I liked the Cabriolet, but for $500, it might be a LOT more work than it's worth. I also haven't made a decision about the Sunfire. It might just have to wait until after the adventure...
